  • GIIF members took part for many years in a number of seminars and international conferences: Viena, Dillingen (Germany), Haderslev (Denmark) , Bonn, Salonic, Paris etc.

  • GIIF members take part in the:
  • EUCISE project (European Cooperation for Integrated Science Education) in some cities in Romania: Calarasi, Oltenita, Timisoara, Sibiu, Drobeta Turnu-Severin, Hunedoara, Iasi,Braila and from Austria:Klagenfurt.
  • TEWISE (Training Experimental Work in Science Education) – teaching resources /Comenius 2.1 project 2003-2005
  • PUENTE (Public Environments for Inter-generational Learning)/ Minerva Project, 2007

    GIIF proposals for an Grundvig partnership/ Grundtvig Contact Seminar, Bordeaux 7-11 Nov. 2007
  • Built-up and development of experimental skills for disabled persons ment to increase their self confidence.
  • Facilitation of social and professional inclusion of the disabled persons by development of new skills and basic science knowledgement.
    Experience in the field
    Nicolae Micescu-vicepresident of GIIF Foundation is the Romanian coordinator for the EUCISE project within the SOCRATES programme, the Comenius 3.1 activity whose aim is to elaborate a European model of Science teachers training. The model is conceived in modules having as its basis the German experience of the PING project ( Praxis Integrierter Naturwissenschaftlichen Grundunterricht).
